Description:
facade concept designed for being integrated to nature in all seasons of central Europe
We planned a full scale picturesque camouflage for monstrous mass building to make sure it will integrate to nature.
The design had to be built to follow separate indoor functions meanwhile it is one consistent composition from outside. The design is made to be translucent and transparent following the needs of each space behind the facades. From indoors each space has their own view and their own composition to support the actual function and identity.
They project was completed a decade after this. Luckily two separate, more sophisticated (and respectful towards nature) architectural concept got manifested instead of one monstrous monolith. The buildings were designed by the great Japanese master Sou Fujimoto and Napur Architects from Hungary.
Although this design will not happen where it was planned to, it still has good principles to develop further towards to solve any problematic monstrous architectural concept needed to be more ecologically friendly, more integrated to nature and most importantly as ergonomic as a monolithic mega facade can be.
