Description:
vertical surface composition in main hall
The building itself achieved 12 different international architecture awards and a LEED Platinum environmental certificate, which shows the extraordinary concept and execution can not be found anywhere closer than Vienna.
The main installation piece of the building’s central hall is a silently integrating smoothly light-interactive horizontal surface running all the way through the main counter’s facade.
The buildings designers gave me 3 different materials to achieve a tactile visual sense coming truly from their environment.
The glass painting’s structure silently emerges from the black of the granite walls plays an interactive visible-invisible game in the reflections of glass facades of the surrounding curt; camouflaging itself using the interference between its bronze waves like pattern and the visitor’s movement. .
